The Prism

The central divine symbol of Queerism.

The Prism represents the divine source of humanity's diversity.

White light passes through a prism and becomes many colors. In the same way, humanity can contain countless identities, personalities, experiences, and forms of love — without those differences making anyone inherently lesser.

Just as no color is the "true" color of light, no single identity is the "true" human. All are refractions of the same light.

The Devil

A symbolic concept, not a call to violence.

Within Queerist symbolism, the Devil represents hatred, bigotry, intolerance, and the rejection of another person's humanity.

This is a symbolic religious concept — not a command to attack or harm anyone.

Fight hatred, not people.
